Located along the iconic Boathouse Row, Vesper Boat Club provides stunning views of the Schuylkill River and the Philadelphia skyline. Built in 1865, this historic boathouse quickly became one of the most celebrated rowing clubs in the United States and the world.

Boat Club Features
The club house recently completed a thorough renovation, restoring much of the house to its original splendor. The memorabilia and artifacts on display narrate the extraordinary history and traditions of Vesper, the Olympics and rowing - including the well-known Kelly family (who Kelly Drive is named after). The boathouse was designed by noted architect G.H. Hewitt with Victorian Gothic style architecture.
